ONERVA LUOMA

I facilitated three community art projects in the municipality of Tuusula in the summer of 2025.

I led workshops in which we painted old clothes donated by local residents. These clothes were displayed at an exhibition in the lobby of the Monio Cultural Center on Tuusula Day.

I organized workshops for children in connection with park picnics. In the workshops, we looked for stamps in the surrounding area and used them to print patches. I compiled the printed patches into a textile work that was donated to the municipality of Tuusula.

I also conducted writing workshops in which participants composed love letters to their cherished garments. These workshops were hosted at regional libraries.
